Who You Help

For 75 years, Belwood Lodge and Camp has been a key service project of the Kiwanis Club of Guelph.
It touches the lives of hundreds of people every year.

Belwood Lodge and Camp provides a true camp experience for people with intellectual disabilities, respite and energy for caregivers and campers, and leadership opportunities for counsellors and campers.

  1. On the selected date of each lottery, the draw will take place at 11:00am at Value Connect Inc., 125c Norfolk Street, Guelph, Ontario, N1H 4J7. The draw dates are as follows:

    Each 50/50 draw on the dates shown will be at 11:00am at the same location:

  2. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.

  3. The number of tickets offered for each 50/50 Draw is unlimited.

  4. Tickets are 3 for $5, 10 for $10 and 100 for $20.

  5. Tickets will be available online only for each and every 50/50 Draw, EXCEPT the October draws, which will also be available at the Sleeman Centre (50 Woolwich Street, Guelph, ON) on October 9, 15, 24, 29 & 30th during the Guelph Storm hockey games. The physical location will be at both ends of the arena on main floor, and near the concession stand on the 2nd floor.

  6. Tickets will be sold using the electronic raffle system supplied by Ascendfs Canada, Ltd.

  7. After buying, purchasers will be given by the sellers, a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

  8. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for that day.

  9. The winning number will be announced electronically to everyone by email and posted on the Kiwanis Club of Guelph 50/50 Draw website.

  10. The winner may claim their prize by contacting The Kiwanis Club of Guelph at Christopher Bisson, CEO of Value Connect Inc. at 125c Norfolk Street, Guelph, Ontario, 226-251-0108 x 4250. The ticket may then be brought to Value Connect Inc. at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.

  11. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.

  12. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification to receive the winning cheque amount.

  13. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% (less administration fees) of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.

  14. If no winner comes forward the number will be posted on the Kiwanis Club of Guelph website at and the Kiwanis Club of Guelph 50/50 Draw website.

  15. If no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time has elapsed, the prize money will be donated to a charity other than the Kiwanis Club of Guelph, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

  16. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50: Administrators of the 50/50 draw, including Ascend employees and Kiwanis members directly involved with the administration of the draws.

  17. In the unlikely event of a "disaster" the 50/50 Draw will be considered concluded if there is no possible means for people to purchase tickets prior to the scheduled end date with the approval of the AGCO.
